Dr. Naomi Nightingale
Dr. Nightingale's academic journey weaves a tapestry of knowledge with a BA in Liberal Arts, an MPA in Public Policy Administration, and a PhD in Leadership and Change. Her studies delved into the realms of organizational development, criminal justice, socio-economics, and education justice, shaping the foundation for her soulful narratives.
Passionately drawn to spirituality, relationships, Black history, social justice, and the eternal journey of becoming, Naomi finds inspiration in the literary magic of Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Alice Walker, James Baldwin, Octavia E. Butler, Iyanla Vanzant, and Eckhart Tolle.
The rhythm of Naomi's writing process is a dance between spontaneity and introspection. "Spirit Talks" emerge spontaneously, a sacred dialogue between her inner self and the instructive voice of the spirit. Her desire is to immortalize her family's essence through short stories, poems, and prose, as witnessed in "It Is I; Emerging from the Inside Out."
